ABOUT NIS
The National Institute for Sport (NIS) was formally established in 1974. It is a parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports.
It is the only institution that is saddled with the responsibility to train coaches and managers, and award them certificates. Without the NIS certificate or it's equivalence, you cannot coach any registered club in Nigeria.
